Producer/Writer Marilyn Taylor created incredibleMAINE in
2006 with Director (and husband) Dave Wilkinson.
The hit show aired on 50+ cable access stations in Maine
until 2007 when incredibleMAINE
made the massive leap to the Maine Public Broadcasting
Network --- MPBN (the only cable access show to ever make
such a leap).
Since airing weekly on MPBN at 10:30 Saturday mornings,
the show has been nominated for two Emmy Awards and has
won multiple Telly Awards.
Prior to her move to Maine, Taylor worked on projects for
Fortune 500 clients from coast to coast producing
award-winning video for The Coca-Cola Company,
Turner Broadcasting Company, IBM,
Kimberly-Clark, Motorola, The International Life
Sciences Institute and the United States Olympic
Committee.
Taylor worked in TV production for the Disney Sunday
Movie and feature film production at the Walt Disney
Studios on Outrageous
Fortune, Tin
Men, Stakeout
and Good Morning
Vietnam. She produced national commercials and
corporate videos for Sony and Delta Airlines while on
staff at the Disney/MGM Studios in Orlando.
Taylor has also produced independent video projects
including Le Petomane
starring Shecky Greene, Jackie Gayle and Eileen Brennan
and a documentary based on an event in Maine history
titled GONE:The Mystery
of the DON Disaster.
She has won various industry awards for her video
projects and her fitness video for children (produced for
The Coca-Cola Company and the United States Olympic
Committee) was distributed around the world where it was
the official physical fitness program in many countries.
In addition to producing an award-winning show for MPBN,
Taylor and her husband are currently publishing two novels
and a novella.
She is a member of the National Academy of Television
Arts and Sciences and the Maine Film and Video
Association.
